Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management (KM) is the process of generating, accumulating, sharing and using knowledge for improving organisational performance. It is creation of new skills, capabilities, competencies and sharing the use of this knowledge by organisational members. In other words, it is a process of creating an interactive learning environment where people transfer and share what they know, internalize it and apply it to create new knowledge.

Key Result Areas

Key Result Areas also called “Key Performance Areas” (KPAs) refer to general areas of outcomes or outputs for which a role, or a combination of roles, is responsible. These are the areas within the organisation where an individual or group is logically responsible / accountable for the results.

Key Performance Indicators

A Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives. Organizations use KPIs at multiple levels to evaluate their success at reaching targets. High-level KPIs may focus on the overall performance of the business, while low-level KPIs may focus on processes in departments such as sales, marketing, HR, support and others.
